Our Profile
YAHOS School of Skills, established in March 2002, has emerged as a pivotal institution in Sarawak’s education landscape, particularly in the realm of skills training and development. Over the years, YAHOS has garnered recognition as the largest private skills training institution in Sarawak, endorsed by the Skills Development Department (JPK) as of 2021. Situated at the main campus in MJC Batu Kawa, Kuching, YAHOS has continually expanded its footprint and offerings to meet the evolving needs of students and the community.
In 2022, YAHOS achieved a significant milestone with the approval to establish YAHOS College under the Ministry of Higher Education. This development not only affirmed YAHOS’s commitment to academic excellence but also paved the way for further growth and expansion. The establishment of an additional premises in Metrocity New Township Matang, Kuching, capable of accommodating 500 students, underscored YAHOS’s dedication to scaling its operations and providing enhanced educational opportunities.
The year 2024 marked another milestone for YAHOS with the opening of the Yahos School of Skills Miri branch and Yahos Beauty Academy in Saradise Kuching. These expansions were made possible following certification from the Skills Development Department (JPK), highlighting YAHOS’s adherence to quality standards and its strategic expansion into new regions and specialized fields.
Throughout its journey, YAHOS has played a pivotal role in community development, particularly in Sarawak, by equipping local communities with essential skills training. This has been crucial in empowering school leavers and individuals seeking to enhance their skills, knowledge, and character.
