Diploma in Pastry and Bakery (MQA/PA 16018)
Study Duration

This program aims to prepare learners to be professional pastry chefs and bakers by providing them with fundamentals of pastry making and baking techniques. It is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills in preparing an array of local and international pastries, desserts, baked products, and confectionary. The students get to harness their pastry making and baking skills in well-equipped pastry kitchens on campus as well as during their industrial internship.

Entry Requirements

  • Possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a minimum of three (3) credits in any subject or its equivalent; or
  • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum Grade C in any subject, or its equivalent; or
  • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul or its equivalent; or
  • A pass in Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in a related field; or
  • A Certificate (Level 3 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) in a related field or its equivalent.
